Official Sprouse Bros Website Disney Channel Games 2008

The Disney Channel Games of 2008 were July 27 - August 30 at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World, Florida. It was the 3rd year of the games, which are always a lot of fun, and a good time for Dylan and Cole to catch up with some of their compadres. Thirty-seven Disney Channel stars competed in relay races, obstacle courses, and other events, and as in the previous two years of DC Games, Brian Stepanek hosted. He's always good for a laugh.

It should be noted that the guys missed the first episode because Cole was blow drying his hair, and Dylan was matching his socks to his underwear. Or, their limo ran out of gas. Or, Dylan can't read a map. What really happened? We'll never tell.

Even though they were on different teams, "The Suite Life" cast had a good showing. In the first week, Brenda Song won for Best Team Captain (she's been a team captain every year!) and in week two, Dylan was named "Most Competitive." (Now, that doesn't sound like him, does it?!) Cole earned the distinction of being the only Disney Channel star to play on the same team all three years.

That would be the Blue Team (Team Lightening) and Cole competed alongside Demi Lovato, Kiely Williams, Roshon Fegan, Alyson Stoner, Shin Koyamada, Farez Bin Juraimi, Isabella Soric and Roger Gonzalez. They played for the Starlight Starbright children's foundation.

Dylan was on the Green Team (The Cyclones), which also included David Henrie, Ambra Lo Faro, Jason Dolley, Jennifer Stone, Chelsea Staub, Brad Kavanaugh, Clara Alonso and Joe Jonas. They played for Unicef.

The Red Team (The Inferno):

Jason Earles, Adrienne Bailon, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Brenda Song, Nick Jonas, Jasmine Richards, Jake T. Austin, Rafa Baronesi, Deniz Akdeniz, and Michael Musso, playing for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The Yellow Team (The Comets):

Kyle Massey, Kunal Sharma, Kevin Jonas, Moises Arias, Andrea Guasch, Yi Chun, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Bryan, and Martin Barlan. They played for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

And the winning team was... The Red Team (Inferno). A team that did not include either Dylan or Cole. No matter, the guys will be back next year anyway.
