Dylan and Cole were 13-years-old when they signed with DualStar to be the face of their boys division, encompassing videos, CDs, sporting goods and apparel. This Wall Street Journal article details the licensing deal between DualStar Entertainment Group and the twins.
Ashley Olsen, co-president of DualStar along with her twin sister Mary-Kate, says the deal fills a niche in the tween marketplace. When it comes to branded merchandise, “you really don’t have boys who are so influential on other boys or even girls,” she says.
